The Darnedest Things

Kids. More specifically, 4 and 5 year olds. They say/do the funniest things.

1. Last week, Faisal, told me that the puzzle he was working on was "More complicated than an elephant." Oh, yea? Cool... I think.

2. Last week, again, Faisal said "Super duper." I know that doesn't sound as funny as I thought it was, but seeing as most of the 4 and 5 year olds don't even say "super," it made me super duper happy.

3. This week, we are learning about the Earth and had "I love the Earth" written on the board. For attendance, we had each child come to the board and read the sentence and we all clapped for them. Faisal, again, came up for his turn, read the sentence and we all applauded. He was the only child who smugly nodded his head and bowed. Not once, but TWICE. Awesome.

4. And today! I was wearing the earrings seen below and a kid came up to me and said "Miss, you have M&Ms on your ears." Why, yes, yes I do. Om nom nom.
